I don't get any SMS messages from my alarm.

There probably is no connection to the telephone network, check the correct positioning of the SIM card, is this PIN free? Repeat the procedure to program a phone number, ( send "6" to the unit ) and see if your signal is sufficient ( 1 "blink" every 2 seconds).
